BEDFORD FAMILY CEMETERY - N.C.

Within 100 yards north of Bedford Family Cemetery are remains of 3 building foundations separated by approximately 100 feet. The cemetery headstone inscriptions face toward the foundations.   All appear to have been dry-laid from local granite. All foundations are on elevated land overlooking Duncan's Creek and its flood plain.  The two tombstones are Peter R. Bedford and Jonas Bedford.   They are sons of Seth, who was the son of Jonas Sr. and Mercy Raymond Bedford, all of whom lived nearby.
